In January of 2002 I encountered the power and love of the Mexican people. My trip consisted of a week in the Mexico city area and two weeks along the US/Mexico border. This trip was part of my education at Lancaster Theological Seminary and was meant to broaden my perspectives about Christianity, the universal Church, international politics and economic justice. This trip greatly impacted my life and many faces of the Mexican people (see below) remain etched into my mind, my heart, my wallet and my ministry as a pastor.
